Amb. Andrey Akhigbe-Anderson is an ideas-man who has many national developmental projects to his credit.
In 2013, Andrey organized “Revolution Against Unemployment” (RAUN Project), a project aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and reducing unemployment among youths in Nigeria.
Also in 2013, he established the “Community of Scavengers and Waste Collectors” (COSWACO Project), a project aimed at curbing the menaces caused by scavengers and waste collectors in the Federal Capital Territory and Nigeria as a whole. The COSWACO Project also advocated against youth involvement in crimes and other social vices. The success of this COSWACO Project earned him both national and international recognition and he was decorated with a Peace Ambassador award by the then First Lady of Nigeria and the President of African First Ladies Peace Mission, Dame Dr. Patience Jonathan on 8th March, 2014.
In 2015, Andrey organized the “National Peace Project” (NPP), a project aimed at promoting peace across Nigeria in the wake of insurgencies and violent attacks across Nigeria. The NPP also has the mission to honour all unsung fallen heroes and heroines; these are men, women and children who died as a result of insurgency and violent attacks in the country.
In 2016, he initiated a project called “Entrepreneurs Runway” (ER). This project was designed to showcase entrepreneurs and their works across Nigeria. In 2017, he metamorphosed the Entrepreneurs Runway idea into “The MSME Retreat” (TMR) which was formally incorporated in 2018 and the maiden edition of TMR was held the same year.
He owns Andreys Food Enterprise, an agro-allied and food processing company. He had also managed several businesses and NGOs amongst which include, Wemart Global Services Limited, where he served as the General Manager and Baba Rabi Foundation, where he served as a consultant and programme officer.
He is an author and a philanthropist. He owns a Facebook page called “Successcruise” where he daily motivates his followers.
Andrey is a selfless Nigerian who has devoted his time to national development most especially investing his time in youth and enterprise development in Nigeria and Africa.
